He who lives upon hope dies farting

Wow, I don’t tend to get really into those preview-trailer things for TV shows, but I’m really looking forward to this. And I already ship Bones the cranky cop and Dorian the robot cop.

a brief summary of an unfunny episode of a very serious show

Ha. Amazeballs.

It’s funny (in an awful sort of way) because it’s true! Ragnar’s kind of a weird and unpredictable dude—if I were Athelstan, I’d want a little security about my place in the world, too.

Freaks and Geeks Reunion

*Screams with joy* Ahh! They even got Harris and Cindy Sanders and Millie! No Alan White or Gordon, but alas, one cannot get too greedy.

Steve hung up after a moment of awkward silence. He was unnerved by how it had taken the guy less than 30 seconds to figure him out, jokingly or not. He decided to take Tony’s advice; he’d go to him or JARVIS for all his tech related problems from now on. Calling technical assistance numbers could wait until he didn’t stick out like a sore thumb in this modern age anymore.

The IT Crowd: “Are you from the past?”

BWAHAHAHA! Amazing.

cyborglovesong:

Velma is having none of your vampire shit today.

Bwahaha. Awesome. I always loved Velma.

My schmuck-ass system, Toby! I may never forgive Mitch Daniels for putting Indiana on Daylight Savings Time. My mom, who’s from Illinois, laughs whenever I complain about this, but seriously, I hate Daylight Savings Time. I don’t get it. I liked our old system better.

Damn right she’s the muscle.

Aww. Nikita loves Alex and the rest of her spy family so much.

Oh, man, the last few moments of this ep made me all verklempt. Nikita and Michael looking at their little spy family! I can scarcely contain my warm fuzzy feelings. The only thing that would improve matters is if Owen came back and hung out with them.

Another Fletcher/Birkhoff moment. Man, this was a great episode for hilarious little character moments. The Sean/Alex ones were fantastic as well.

Hah. That was an awesome moment.

Hah. That was an awesome moment.

“There’s just so much to work through. Trust has to be built again on both sides. You have to learn if - if we’re even the same people we were. If you can fit in each others lives. It’s a long and important process, and can we just skip it? Can you just be kissing me now?”

I’ve kind of never forgiven Joss for this. I mean, plotwise, okay, I get it’s like the culmination of Willow’s increasing reliance on magic and ignoring of ethical/moral boundaries, etc., but COME THE FUCK ON!!! Why must you rip our hearts out and fall into cliched “Dead Lesbian” territory while you do it? (I speak half as a Tara/Willow fan and half as a disgruntled queer person—neither one of them ever watches this episode  after this point.)

Such an awesome episode. It was really genuinely creepy, but also had some awesomely humorous bits, and of course some great Tara/Willow/magic action.

Goodnight.

Oh, jeez, I loved that show. I still recite that bit from the beginning of Action League Now! sometimes: “The Flesh: He’s super strong…and super naked. Thundergirl: She flies…like thunder. Stinky Diver: With an attitude as bad as his odor. And Meltman, with the power to…melt!” And the bad guy was the Mayor. I loved it! And Life with Loopy, man, that was one of my favorite segments. I had actually forgotten about Sniz and Fondue until this very moment! Ah, old school Nickelodeon, a staple of my childhood.
